The Schocher Family took over the hotel in 1983 and have been running the Hotel Seerose for 25 years now with dedication and a sense of tradition which has lead to the warm and inviting atmosphere ever-present in the hotel today. From the very beginning the hotel enjoyed almost cult status in Fuschl am See for guests to the Salzkammergut Lake District. Over the decades the hotel has developed from a guesthouse for day trippers to a magnificent, newly-renovated 4-star hotel. The hotel’s romantic setting, right on the shores of the lake, the unique atmosphere and the long-standing hotel traditions that are still upheld today are probably the reasons why so many guests return year after year to the Hotel Seerose.

Franz and Gabi Schocher have been in the hotel and restaurant business for almost 30 years and can therefore rely on almost 3 decades of experience. You will notice this in each and every part of the hotel: whether it be the attentive personal service provided by the restaurant staff, the lovingly chosen decoration and careful attention to detail or the obliging and expert help given by the receptionists.
