This tranquil village has only 1,300 inhabitants but Fuschl and its lake offer countless leisure possibilities: hiking, golfing, swimming, mountain-biking, beach volleyball, sailing, surfing, diving and snorkelling. Or why not hire a rowing boat or pedalo and explore the secluded bays and romantic corners of the lake.

An absolute must: The beautiful walk around the lake. The walk will take about 3 hours and the path follows the shore line through idyllic forests and meadows. This charming walking trail starts literally right outside the hotel’s front door.

We can also recommend: A boat trip across Lake Fuschl with the “Zille”, the traditional wooden boat of the area, and a visit to the Castle Fishery. Try the local smoked trout and enjoy this culinary delight on the romantic shores of Lake Fuschl – an absolute delight! The boat then returns to the lakeside promenade in Fuschl. The “Zille” crosses the lake three times a day in high season so you have plenty of time to relax, unwind and enjoy the views.
