Cross-country skiing is one of the healthiest sports there are and more and more people of all ages are catching on to the joys of this rhythmic and exhilarating winter sport. The wonderfully sunny cross-country skiing trails in and around Fuschl am See enable you not only to improve your fitness, but to enjoy the stunning winter scenery at the same time. 140 km of marked trails await you in the region starting with the 2 km village trail right on your doorstep. If that’s not enough, a further 8 km of sunny trails will take you into the Ellmau Valley here in the village. You will also find a true cross-county skiing paradise in the neighbouring village of Faistenau, just 8 km from Fuschl am See, offering Nordic skiers of all levels more than 55 km of well prepared trails and a 4.2 km-long flood-lit trail (lit from Tuesday to Friday until 9 pm.)
